Hey Captain Mike Ortego The Florida Fisherman here with your central Florida Fishing report for July 16th and the upcoming weekend
Inshore Sebastian has been the land of giants, big redfish and snook are being caught around the inlet from both boats and the pier. Over to the north lagoon the tarpon bite has increased with reports of good numbers from Turner Flats to Edgewater.
In lake Atlantic the Sailfish bite has been hot in 120 to 200 feet of water. The kingfish bite has increased between Pelican flats and 8A and Cobia can still be found from 8A to Ponce anywhere from 40 -80 feet.
On the freshwater front Orange Lake in Ocala has produced good numbers flipping , with the days getting hotter some great bass are being caught deep in the grass.
